Vetcision's Emergency Critical Care Department
Our Emergency Critical Care Department is classified as a Level One Trauma Center by the Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care Society. Our Department actually functions as 2 separate but linked areas in that we diagnose, stabilize and manage emergent patients through advanced emergency care as well as provide ongoing care for critically ill patients in our Intensive Care Unit. Our expertly trained and certified staff provides care to dogs and cats on a referral or walk-in basis. Our team also treats a wide range of medical problems, including those resulting from:
- Motor vehicular trauma
- Bites and lacerations
- Shock
- Toxicities
- Infections
- Metabolic problems
- Respiratory problems
- Neurologic problems
- Surgical emergencies

Payment For Services
Vetcision accepts cash, local personal checks, ATM, Visa, MasterCard, Discover and CareCredit, a low or no cost financing option for qualified applicants. Other payment options may be available. Please speak with our business manager.
Payment is due at the time of services. For patients who are admitted to the hospital, a deposit based upon 75% of the low end of our estimated treatment plan will be required, with the balance due upon discharge from the hospital. Treatment plan estimates are updated daily if the patient requires continued hospitalization.
