House Officer's Training Schedule
Intern Training Rounds and Lectures
Referring veterinarians are welcome to the intern training rounds and lectures with the exception of M & M rounds.
Nightly Cage-Side Rounds
6 PM--Discussion of daily hospitalized patients and night orders. On duty doctors.
Friday Morning Senior Clinician Lectures
8-9 AM--Lectures given on various topics by senior clinicians and guest lecturures. All interns.
Morbidity & Mortality Rounds
6-7 PM 2nd Tuesday--Discussion of cases that have died or may have suffered increased morbidity over the last month. Rounds assigned by the surgical intern. All interns and senior clinicians; closed rounds.
Journal Club
5:30-6:30 PM 3rd Tuesday--Indepth discussion of select manuscripts selected by the surgical intern. All interns and senior clinicians.
VANS Meeting
7:30-9 PM--Veterinary Association of the North Shore meeting and CE lecture. Off duty interns and senior clinicians.
Doctor's Meeting
6-7 PM 4th Tuesday--Practice management and operating procedures discussion. All interns and senior clinicians.
