Operations Manager
We are seeking a seasoned part-time administrator to help guide our growing veterinary specialty practice into the new economy. Vetcision is a 15-year old company that recently expanded from a surgical practice to include internal medicine and emergency medicine with a teaching program. We are looking for a corporate builder who can also mentor a junior management staff. A person who understands the challenges and vision of a practice devoted to the best in veterinary specialty care.
Our new administrator needs team building expertise, while being able to communicate “the business as a whole” comes first. An exceptional business manager is in place. We need an operations manager that complements this person. Financial management skills are a must, as are knowledge of business law. We are in a highly competitive market where innovation and exceptional customer service are necessary to thrive. Marketing, and understanding new communication methods, are also desirable skills.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- A business degree or comparable work experience.
- Demonstrated success administering growing companies.
- Review and continuously update controls and systems to ensure long-term growth.
- Proven financial management skills.
- An understanding of business law and a minimum degree of legal skills.
- Lead, coach, and direct high performance teams, creating an environment of trust, respect and enthusiasm.
- Partner with doctors, para-professional and customer care teams to ensure delivery of the highest standards of care and service.
